It is with deepest regret that we have to announce the death of two beloved members of our team.
On Thursday, 21st January, guitarist Leon Villalba and bassist Timothy Kennelly, both members of British metal band AFTER DEATH died, victims of a terrible accident on a beach in Aracaju, Brazil. Leon and Tim were swimming in Atalaia around 2:30pm, when Leon began to struggle, Tim went to his aid but the sea took them both. The reasons for the drowning are still unknown, although the beach is known to have the potential to be dangerous.
AFTER DEATH were in the midst of a Brazilian tour with the bands Master and Predator.

We are pleased to be able to advise that due to a fantastic fund raising effort, Tim is now back in the UK. Leon will also be leaving Brazil shortly, going directly to the Philippines as per the wishes of his family. We will leave the appeal running for a little while longer to help with funeral costs etc.
